Class IV Laser Therapy

  • Class IV Laser Therapy

Low-level laser therapy, also called cold laser therapy or Class IV laser therapy, is a noninvasive, state-of-the-art technique used to treat many different ailments, from arthritis to tissue injuries, and it’s also often used on postoperative patients as a means of rehabilitation. It encourages and speeds healing by increasing blood flow and stimulating cell regeneration.

Typical laser therapy sessions last for five to 20 minutes, but inflammation continues to reduce for up to 24 hours after sessions conclude. Most patients begin to improve significantly after three to five sessions.

Laser therapy is a noninvasive outpatient procedure that does not require sedation or hair removal, and there are little to no unwanted side effects, making it a safe and convenient option for your pets.
